Dear Residents of Gwanak Residence Halls,

What can we bring to our minds when we talk aboust a person? Although there might be different opinions, one could be the memories linked to their lives. Losing memories means losing social relationships with others, as well as values and knowledge gained by experience. This shows how memories are unique to each person and also linked to other individuals.
All residents here will build relationships make memories with their roommates and many other people while living in Gwanak Residence Halls. This is the reason why Gwanak Residence Halls feels a heavy responsibility about forming the identify of each individual resident.
I believe the key to forming a desirable identity and becoming a better person lies in accumulating an ample amount of good and happy memories. Based on this belief, Gwanak Residence Halls has consistently been thinking about and working towards making the lives of all residents happier.
Currently, Gwanak Residence Halls accommodates a large number of over 5,000 residents in the Undergraduate Dormitory, the Graduate Dormitory, and the Family Dormitory. We are working towards providing diverse personality, cultural, educational and sports programs for a happy dormitory life within this large community. Furthermore, this multicultural living environment with students from around 80 different countries will provide an opportunity to learn and practice how to respect others and live happily together.

We Gwanak Residence Halls will make every effort to help you make happy memories and become professionals that can contribute to our society. We would also like to ask you to help us bulid a community where everybody coexists and makes happy momories.
