Extension
A person who is subject to extension
- Only those who belong to Seoul National University can apply for an extension.
- Faculty(Instructor) or researcher,s appointment is scheduled and confirmed
- The term of residence of an instructor or researcher has expired without any change of identity.
- A graduate student (a research student) who is appointed as an instructor or researcher after moving in.
- A graduate student (or a research student) who wants an extension.
Application period
- At least 15 days before a residency expiration
Application method
- The department/organization may submit required documents with an official document
- Required Documents
- An application for an extension of the BK Residence Halls
- An appointment schedule confirmation or Appointment certificate (Graduate student: Certificate of registration or student certificate)
- A copy of both sides of an alien registration card
Extension permitted period
- A residency can be extended to within one year after deliberation and decision of the Administrative Management Committee
- The total period of residence cannot exceed seven years for instructors and five years for researchers)
- For graduate students (including research students), extension is limited to one time.
